Lizzy Cooney — Preschool Teacher

Ms. Lizzy was raised in Pinedale, and considers it a blessing to raise her son here as well. Lizzy has been involved with the Children’s Discovery Center since January of 2016. She believes in creating a loving, consistent environment; one in which children will be heard and valued. She is aware of the crucial developmental stages children pass through during the ages of 3-4, and the importance of creating a foundation for lifelong health. Lizzy follows the Montessori belief of fostering independence in children, building upon their “spontaneous love of learning” through a nature based classroom. She is uplifted to be a part of such a beautiful space for the children in our community.
