Our school is unique in that it offers programs to students year-round, enabling parents to continue working, as jobs do not stop in the summer. The Children’s Discovery Center not only provides summer childcare with certified staff, but our Summer Program integrates outdoor education into the student’s everyday activities. It is our aim to continue this program with a committed funding source, in an effort to create sustainable programming.
The longstanding partnership between the Children's Discovery Center and Sublette County BOCES has been founded on shared goals, and we appreciate their ongoing commitment to the children in our community. We are grateful for the $6,000 we received, thus reinforcing the Children’s Discovery Center’s and BOCES’ commitment to maintaining and expanding enriching programs for the children in Sublette County.
