Rocky Mountain Power Foundation awards CDC

The Children’s Discovery Center wants to thank Rocky Mountain Power Foundation for awarding us a grant in the amount of $2,500 to support our interactive Summer Program for students ages 2-10, providing an outdoor educational curriculum to learn about native landscape through hands-on exploration. This summer, we were able to have 9 guest speakers and/or organizations discuss various topics, we took 35 field trips in Sublette County and Teton County throughout the months of June, July and August and we also participated in the local Farmer’s Market (High Altitude Market) 6 times throughout the summer. This summer we offered an interactive hands-on approach to 36 students ages 2-7. We are thankful to have continued support from Rocky Mountain Power Foundation.
