Stained Glass

Since 2015, we have collaborated with local artist, Hayley Ruland, who introduces students to stained glass, providing each student with the opportunity to create a unique piece of work. As children decide how to make parts fit together into a whole, where to place objects, and what details to include, they learn to coordinate what they see with the movements of the hands and fingers.  Not many people would think of glass and toddlers as a good combination, but Hayley and the CDC staff are ready to tackle the challenge.
